DARTMOUTH BAR STAFF TURN MISFORTUNE INTO COMMUNITY

NS, May 2019 – The Staff of Staggers
Pub & Grub, has decided to turn their misfortune into a way to give back to
the Downtown Dartmouth Business Community. A construction accident, on April 27th,
caused their place of work, Staggers Pub & Grub, to close temporarily to repair
roof and water damage to the bar. The employees have found themselves
temporarily out of work, not knowing if their wages will be covered by
insurance. They have chosen to use their free time, while out of work, to give
back to the community. Offering their service to Downtown Dartmouth Business
owners.
The Staggers Team have found themselves
going a little stir crazy from boredom. They came up with an idea to spearhead
a community-minded project. We all know the struggles of being a small
independent business owner and operator, not having the time needed to do
banking, cleaning, pick up children, make deliveries and other tasks. Such task
has caused business owners to temporarily close their doors. The Staggers Team
have decided to offer their services to perform these tasks, providing free
labour for downtown business owners, freeing up their time to focus on their
business and customers. Please contact us and we would be happy to provide the
best staff member for your tasks.
Thank you for all the support Staggers
and the Team have received, from our local community, customers (our family),
and friends. We look forward to reopening once repairs have been completed.
Please reach out for any services you may need free of charge, to give you a
break.
The staff are trying hard to be able to
continue as a team with Staggers, looking forward to its reopening and
returning to serving our customers. One of the patrons and part of our Staggers
family has started a go fund me page
for the staff. The bar staff is considered replaceable, therefore the insurance
companies will not cover their salaries. We and our community would be thankful
